Prof. Jay Liebowitz

Columbia University’s Data Science Institute

Dr. Jay Liebowitz has recently served as the inaugural Executive-in-Residence for Public Service at Columbia University’s Data Science Institute. He was previously a Visiting Professor in the Stillman School of Business and the MS-Business Analytics Capstone & Co-Program Director (External Relations) at Seton Hall University. He previously served as the Distinguished Chair of Applied Business and Finance at Harrisburg University of Science and Technology. Before HU, he was the Orkand Endowed Chair of Management and Technology in the Graduate School at the University of Maryland University College (UMUC). He served as a Full Professor in the Carey Business School at Johns Hopkins University. He was ranked one of the top 10 knowledge management researchers/practitioners out of 11,000 worldwide and was ranked #2 in KM Strategy worldwide according to the January 2010 Journal of Knowledge Management. At Johns Hopkins University, he was the founding Program Director for the Graduate Certificate in Competitive Intelligence and the Capstone Director of the MS-Information and Telecommunications Systems for Business Program, where he engaged over 30 organizations in industry, government, and not-for-profits in capstone projects.

Prior to joining Hopkins, Dr. Liebowitz was the first Knowledge Management Officer at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. Before NASA, Dr. Liebowitz was the Robert W. Deutsch Distinguished Professor of Information Systems at the University of Maryland-Baltimore County, Professor of Management Science at George Washington University, and Chair of Artificial Intelligence at the U.S. Army War College.

Dr. Liebowitz is the Founding Editor-in-Chief of Expert Systems With Applications: An International Journal (published by Elsevier; ranked as a top-tier journal; Thomson Impact Factor from June 2021 is 8.665). He is a Fulbright Scholar, IEEE-USA Federal Communications Commission Executive Fellow, and Computer Educator of the Year (International Association for Computer Information Systems). He has published over 45 books and a myriad of journal articles on knowledge management, analytics, financial literacy, intelligent systems, and IT management. Dr. Liebowitz served as the Editor-in-Chief of Procedia-CS (Elsevier). He is also the Series Book Editor of the Data Analytics Applications book series (Taylor & Francis), as well as the Series Book Editor of the new Digital Transformation: Accelerating Organizational Intelligence book series (World Scientific Publishing). In October 2011, the International Association for Computer Information Systems named the “Jay Liebowitz Outstanding Student Research Award” for the best student research paper at the IACIS Annual Conference. Dr. Liebowitz was the Fulbright Visiting Research Chair in Business at Queen’s University for the Summer 2017 and a Fulbright Specialist at Dalarna University in Sweden in May 2019. He is in the Top 2% of the top scientists in the world, according to a 2019 Stanford Study. As of 2021, he is the Visiting Distinguished Professor at the International School for Social and Business Studies in Slovenia. Prof. Fatih Çetin

Baskent University, Turkey

Fatih Çetin is a professor of Management in the Department of Business Administration at Baskent University in Turkey. His research focuses on the field of organizational behavior and knowledge management studies.

The main research topics are employee attitudes, emotions, and behaviors; cross-cultural and scale adaptation studies; ICTs, social media, and cybersecurity perceptions at the workplace.

He has authored over 110 publications including journal articles, book chapters, and proceedings.

His recent researches have appeared in Journal of Computer Information Systems, International Journal of Intercultural Relations, The Journal of General Psychology, Management Research Review, Journal for East European Management Studies, and European Journal of International Management.


Prof. Dr. Duysal Aşkun Çelik

Rice University

Dr. Duysal Aşkun Çelik is a Full Professor of Organizational Behavior and Industrial/Organizational Psychology. Professor Aşkun Çelik has been teaching as a university professor in different universities and capacities since 2007. For many years she has taught at several Universities in Istanbul. Since 2018, Askun has been teaching at Gabelli School of Business (Fordham U),  Baruch College (CUNY), New York City College of Technology (CUNY), Rutgers Business School (Rutgers U), Rice University Jones School of Business and Harbour Education, Beijing, China.

Professor Aşkun Çelik frequently conducts research in the area of organizational behavior. Her articles were published in highly reputable journals such as International Business Review, European Journal of International Management, Management Research Review, European Management Review, and Journal of Business Ethics. She is also a member of the Academy of Management and the coordinator of the OB Interest Group at the Turkish Academy of Management. She has been a co-editor of two books, and she has authored two books in the area of I/O Psychology and Personal Development. For many years, she has been serving as a reviewer for reputable journals in the field of social sciences such as Employee Relations, Social Indicators Research and International Journal of Conflict Management. Currently, she is the editor of the Journal, Human and Work.

Among her many paths of career, may be the most important one is entrepreneurship. Since she started practicing corporate training as a freelancer in 2002, she has developed her training experience and skills by delivering wide range of services from her own company, Smart Solutions (www.smartsolutionsgroupusa.com). In 2017, Professor Aşkun Çelik started a business incubator project while consulting Starcamp to launch bootcamp and accelerator programs in Silicon Valley. In 2016 & 2017, she has spent majority of her time in Palo Alto, California to help organize training programs that included modules for idea generation & product development, user experience, go to market strategy, investor pitch and venture capital investments.

Askun received her undergraduate degree in Psychology and master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Boğaziçi University, and her Doctorate degree in the Department of Organizational Behavior in the faculty of Business Administration from Marmara University. Additionally, she holds an MBA degree from City University of New York Baruch College and a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the Spirituality, Mind and Body Institute, Counseling and Clinical Psychology program at Columbia University Teachers College.

Dr. Kuanchin Chen

Professor of Computer Information Systems

Director of the Center for Business Analytics, and John W. Snyder Fellow at Western Michigan University.

He has more than twenty-five years of research, teaching, and consulting experience. His research interests include data analytics, social networking, privacy & security, online behavioral issues, AI and human computer interaction. Dr. Chen has published in many reputable academic journals, including Information Systems Journal, Decision Support Systems, Information & Management, IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics, International Journal of Information Management, Journal of Database Management, Internet Research, Communications of the Association for Information Systems, Journal of Global Information Management, DATA BASE for Advances in Information Systems, Information processing & Management, and Tourism Management. Dr. Fathmath Muna

Education: Dr. Fathmath Muna pursued Doctor of philosophy (Ph.D) in Business/Management specializing in HRM from Management Science University in Malaysia. She completed her Master of Business Administration (MBA), from Open university Malaysia. Also, have studied Bachelor of Business Management & Marketing in Maldives National University and Certificate in Leadership in Office Management. Likewise, she has accomplished various Executive Trainings in overseas countries.

Employment: Dr. Fathmath Muna joined the Maldives Government in 2005 and has worked in the public sector for more than 18 years in the Civil Service Sector (Government). Currently, works as the Director General of the Maldives Media Council. She also worked in various other Ministries such as the Ministry of Housing and Infrastructure and the Ministry of Health. HR Leader, Trainer, College Lecturer, and International Keynote Speaker. Additionally, she also works as a college lecturer, delivering Human Resource (HR) modules to post graduate students at college in Male, Maldives. She has trained number of individuals and added value to both their professional development and organizational effectiveness. She is a career-oriented woman who strives to share her knowledge and experience in a professional Manner.  Dr. Muna is a strong, independent woman. She started research publication in 2021, since then the author has published more than Nine Paper/Articles in the international Scopus journals and contributed to book chapters as well. Her research articles have greatly increased academic knowledge and the level of experience among HR professionals globally. Apart from publications, she has represented the Maldives and delivered more than eight conference papers on a global scale in a number of nations, including Turkey, the USA, South Florida, Greece, India, and Sri Lanka. However, her work has been recognized as a best researcher award in 2022. Through Google Scholar, Research Gate, and Academia, her papers could be accessible to the large audience.

She also won prestigious Women Excellence Award for Excellent Researcher of the year 2022 and Women personality of the year 2021, powered by Times Women Icon. She was honored with the Asian HR Leadership Award “Women at Leadership Award” in 2019, which was held in Dubai Mall.
